ps2 v4 tray will not open what happen's is that when i power the unit on the power buttom lites up and when i press the eject button it turns blue and then starts to blink after about 5 sec Could it be the ba5815fm chip need help thanks

possible, but the BA chip usually doesn't go unless you have a modchip and usually a cheap mod chip.

i have had this happen before w/o it being the BA chip. mine was just that the tray was stuck and i had to reseat the tray. hope it is that simple for you.

One of my ps2's does that and ive opened it several times and tried several things , i think the eject tray motor as gone.
