Has anybody ordered any media from Supermedia.com lately. The shipping and handling has went up to $10 now.
They are selling the 4x Taiyo Yuden for $29.99 and its $40.00 with the shipping and handling>>>getting expensive.

yes supermedia.com is a good place to buy from, all that has a lot
to do with these outrages gas prices,probably.

but also i have found they will lists (sometimes) the same item
in several different locations on their website..........

have bought from them many times.in the past

In case anyone is interested, The New Sony Accucore DVD+R 8X Media that says "Made in Japan" on the cake box IS Taiyo Yuden made. They are Excellent Media ! Haven't had a coaster in over 50 writes! Playback quailty is Awesome too! The new Fuji DVD+R DVD media that says Made in Japan is also Taiyo Yuden.

Taiyo Yuden can vary in pricing among what I personally consider the "big 3" of online REPUTABLE vendors...

1. www.supermediastore.com
2. www.meritline.com
3. www.rima.com

it's just a coin toss as to which will low-ball the other with MORE competitive pricing on the TY media at any given time. as is true with business, without this competition, prices would continue to rise, so this is a good thing.

final word: just buy from a REPUTABLE vendor with the lowest shipped price at the time of purchase, do a little comparison shopping and you will be good to go. good luck

You should just wait until Best Buy has their sale on Fuji DVDRs. Just pick up the 'Made in Japan' ones which are Taiyo Yudens. They are usually $20 for 50-pack.

Seems like all the Fuji at bestbuy,,frys and Office Depot are made in Taiwan. Never seen one pack made from Japan located here in Austin,Tx.
