I am in the process of losing my DVDx Platinum version 4038 because I have to do a recovery to my computer... Pluse I have found out that newer movies are not working with this version and that I will have to pay to upgrade...I am not sure I am not sure I have the right people either (but I think I do ) since 321 closed there doors..
The question I have is should I just for get about dvdx and go with something else ...what does everone think is the best program to use to back up my dvds..
last I hear that dvdx has the best but that was a while or should I say llllooonnnggg time ago...I am however happy with the way it worked before and want to make sure I get good copies again..
Thank sfor everyones help in advance...:)
With DVD Shrink which is free you will need DVD Decryptor or AnyDVD to work around the copyprotection of the DVDs. Shrink and Decryptor is no longer updated but still work with 90% of the disc out there.
If you download AnyDVD that is updated frequintly and will work with DVDShrink or recode2. I would sugest getting AnyDVD cause they keep up to date on the new copy protections that are coming out.
If you happen to have Nero Ultra edition you could use Recode2 which is what I use with AnyDVD and it makes great copies.
If you decide to buy AnyDVD, which is recomended for use with any transcoder you decide to use, you can buy it bundled with CloneDVD 2 and save $19 as opposed to buying the 2 programs individually. Here's the link. http://www.slysoft.com/en/ Also if you don't already have Nero or your vs is oem and doesn't include recode 2 you can buy Nero 6 oem suite 3 (cd rom) which does include recode 2 for about $8. Nero 6 oem suite 1 & 2 does not include recode 2. Here's an example. http://www.softwareandstuff.com/SWW12252.html
