vcd to dvd+r.is it possible to do this with shrink without losing any quality?any answers will be greatly appreciated.

Shrink is designed to work with the correct DVD structure, so wont recognise the VCD format files, and wont convert them either. Also if any original you have is VCD then transferring it to DVD will have no bearing on quality as the DVD has over 6 times the capacity. This will all depend on the method of conversion and the original quality.
What format is the film on on CD.
