Can you Help with 3gp file mobile phone mpeg...

can any one please help, i have recorded a short (3.5mb) movie clip on my camera phone which was never saved. i have managed to retrieve the file using a data recovery program (file scavenger and also Ontrack) but now although i have a 3gp file on my computer i can not view it. I have quick time and it plays all my other mpegs from my mobile but not this one. is there any type of repair software i can use to fix this problem, surley if there's a 3.5mb file there i must be able to salvage it, no??

I have the razor v3 and i can do the same. You need to watch them with real media player. I am nt too sure if you need to download a codec with it but when you attempt to watch it it will ask if you want to download automatically.Hope i helped!!

try using a 3gp converter. I think there's one on apple's site or you can just search google for it. Maybe converting it to another format may fix the problem. I did it before with pictures and it helped.

i tried Xilisoft 3GP Video Converter and ImTOO 3GP Video both does not work..i even tried using hex editor to cut of the first part of the corrupted file..but all failed...please help..

the video is very precious.

no dodotiti, i have not figured it out!! i'm kinda giving up now to be honest. because it sounds like you have done even more than me... so how was yours corrupted? what happened with mine was that after i finished filming instead of pressing the stop botton i used the slider on my d750i and that switched off the camera without saving the file
