is this movie protected under sony ARCOS or something like that? or maybe it's just my system, any help? DVD X copy won't copy it neither :(

DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter are both free and are still useful for most DVDs. Combined with AnyDVD(retail) or DVD43 or DVD Fab Decrypter (both free) should do all current encryptions. If you try AnyDVD and like it, buy it. IMO its the best value out there.

My trial version of AnyDVD ran out a couple weeks ago.I had no trouble using DVD Shrink and Nero on this title. It was region 1 and I only did main movie only.
You may have a bum disc.
Anydvd is well worth the money.Lifetime updates.I just placed my order and waiting for my email confirmation for the serial #.
It also pulls off the encryptions on regular music cds.

Used AnyDVD and Clove DVD2 on this disc with TY media. Worked fine.

You guys nailed it with, seems to be one the forums favs...AnyDVD & CloneDVD 2 combo. Worth the bucks personally. I also backed that movie up using Intervideo COpy 3. AnyDVD is simply a fantastic program. I usually make two back-ups of some of our favorite movies to keep them in different areas of the home. For free though Shrink didn't have any trouble with it. Again, like the team mentioned it could have been a bad pressing. Have a good one.

No more trying to find out how to beat sony protected, i will tell you. I have copyed about 500 movies with no issues.
I use DVD Shrink a (the copying tool)
I use DVD Decrypter as a (burning tool only)
Now for Columbia and Sony DVD'S
I use (dvd region+CSS Free)It works automatically in the background.

than after that buy full version on line from SOFTPEDIA
COST ME 33.43 EURO

Im having the same issue coping this dvd...i have dvd dycrypter, DVD Shrink and AnyDVD...its get about 47% and it says its copyright protected....what do you all think I tried all your suggestions and the disc is clean...

download CloneDVD 2 with running AnyDVD in the background ,it WILL do the movie just fine.
not sure why you are having problems with DVD Shrink and anydvd
try doing a disc cleanup and a defrag. and see if that helps and or unload and reload dvd shrink
