My ribbon has been damaged severly and now my ps2 doesn't turn on.

There has to be another switch, because the on / eject switch is connected to the motherboard. please tell me there is...

i dont think that you would want to pen the case every time you wanna play to hit that button, but i dont beleive there is one. follow the reset cable.

buy a new cable, they are pretty cheap ($5.45) and not
too hard to install. Much cheaper than replacing the PS2
