I have heard you need something to hold down special clips or something like that.

Sorry I cant be very specific, because I dont know! Hopefully someone else will be able to help you out?

Yes, you need the fliptop or the magic switch. But if you do a bit of searching you will find out that the magic switch is a pain in the butt. You can get Swap Magic/Fliptop combos from many websites. Hope this helps
