i tried analyzing this movie with shrink and it kept freezing at 18%, then i tried doing it another way with decrypter first then shrink but i twas taking logn so i quit. then when i tried burning king arthur with shrink then decrypter it said time remaining would be liek 2 hours!! and i had burned 6 movies b4 that in like 20 minutes. does anybody know why this happend? i found out the only way to make it go fast again for me was to do a recovery(ive done 3 so far)

Make sure you have the latest versions of these two software packages and do not multita.sk while the copy process is proceeding

Shrink freezes on "The Forgotten" because of added ARccOS structure protection.

Are your slow times occuring during the Shrink encoding process?

The default installation of Shrink will have the quality settings turned on so you may need to go in and turn them off. When you select "Backup!" the Backup DVD menu opens. Find the Quality Settings tab, select it and then see if any of the boxes are checked. Uncheck them.

DVDFab Decrypter will get past the structure protection you may be running into:

Use this program first and then use Shrink in the "Open Files" mode.
