Taiyo Yuden 4X DVD-R blank media 200 pack?

Can I burn 4x DVD-r's with my dvd burner that is a 16x memorex dvd burner? I guess 4x means max speed and if a burner can do 16x doesnt that mean up to 16x? so It could burn 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15, and 16x?

The burner will burn that media no faster than 4X. You really do not want to try burning any movie at 16X. Try to limit you speed to no more than 8X but you need that speed media or better. If the image is pixeled and jumpy then slow the speed down until you get a good movie , and now that is your max speed for movies that are compressed.

You should be able to use that blank media if the burner recog. the Taiyo Yudens. If those are real TY then you have some of the best blank media out there. D/L DVDinfoPro( free ) and do a blank media test to see who the real manuf of the disks are

 Yes, you can most certainly use that media .. In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised if you could overburn that TY media at least at 8x - But as Car_Mike stated, I wouldn'yt burn it any faster than 4x ... Even if the media was rated at 16x, I still would burn it at 4x ...
