Does dual layer dvd+r discs work on a modded ps2? or is it only dvd-r? i can't tell the difference...

can someone explain to me whats the difference and whether or not dvd+r disc work on my modded ps2?

OK, as far as i know ONLY DVD+R DL discs will work
and you have to have a good mod chip
Swap Magic will not play them.
DMS4 chips will and Matrix Infinity
Or you can use Toxic DL Patcher to patch the game
and then any DVD9 ready chip will play it.
