sometimes after downloading movies and then converting them to a dvdr format, the resulting files are larger than my blank DVD+r discs can hold. in other words, my discs say 4.7 GB, and the converted file is larger. is there any thing i can do besides continuing to look foolish in not being able to find the answers to this question in the forums?.....please......is this where DVDShrink would come in handy, or is that just for copying?.....thx

Yes run it throuigh shrink to compress it down to a 4.7 disk.
