My problem is not burning the movies it's how long it takes. I tried all different types of speeds and it just doesn't matter...the whole burning process after i use the decrypter takes at least 3 to 4 hours...what can i do to speed up the process????

ok, first I have a few questions:

1) what DVD burner do you have? What are your computer specs?

2) What media are you using? Is your media rated at a fast speed?

3) Have you tried using other DVD burner software?

I highly recommend DVD Shrink you can find it and an execellent guide for it here at Afterdawn. The link to DVD Shrink is:

the DVD Shrink guide is here:
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd9_to_dvdr_with_dvd_shr...

3) Are you doing anything while the DVD is burning?

DVD Burning is a very CPU consuming task, I HIGHLY suggest that you do NOTHING while burning DVDs. Just let your computer sit and burn the DVD.

4) Last question, is there a place in your burning program that says what speed its going to burn at? If so, try increasing that number.

Also, along with all the good questions asked above, make sure your DMA is enabled for your drives. Here is a guide

your questions were very helpful but the problem was in the types of dvd's i was using. I stopped using DVD-R and started using DVD+R. The difference was amazing. I saved at least 3 hours.
