Hi,
I'm new to this burning thing and i really need your help!
I wanted to make a copy of Brian Lara on ps2. I tried to burn the game using descryptor. The descryptor reads the game onto a file and burns the game up to 88 percent and then shows an error message. I tried to write the game at all speeds but none of them work, i am using a TDK DVD-R. Below there is an error report that dvd descrptor gave me:

Ok, well from the list you gave there it looks like the media you are using is incompatible with the drive. What make is your dvd writer? and does it write to DVD-R? From what the list says, I would guess that your burner only writes on DVD+R.
Also, noticed that your C drive is FAT32, you might want to change that at some point to NTFS... but the only way I can think of doing that without having to re-install everything is rather complicated and involves you having to have another hard drive too.

good luck

Hi,
lol thats sounds preitty damn complicated,
firstly what is wrong with a FAT32 drive, i am sure that my dvd burner can write DVD-R because i have been able to successfully burn Brian Lara on a MR.DVD DVD-RW, but this is useless because it doesnt play dvd-rw's on my ps2. Do you think it is because of the TDK media i use?

PLESE HELP!

maybe, but it seems more likely that is it ur FAT32 hardrive, it must be NTFS, it cant support files bigger than 4gb, u dont have to buy a new hardrive i dont think because i just reformatted mine and a friend made it NTFS in the process, if ur willing to reformat your computer google it on how to change.

it doesnt make any difference whether its FAT32 OR NTFS,dvd decrypter splits the iso in half

you are selecting the MDS yes???,its vital you do this on FAT32

when you use DVD Decrypter to create an iso,it makes an MDS file and a ISO
when you go to burn it,you select the MDS,not the iso

an MDS file is one of the files created
when you use DVD Decrypter to copy the game to
your hard drive from the original
It gives you an MDS file and an ISO file
Burn the MDS file as it will tell the computer
where to find the ISO, or all it's parts if it had to be
split up.
But it really is much easier with an NTFS hard drive structure
Mine would not copy correctly when i had FAT32
Once i formatted it to NTSF i have had smooth sailing.
