I am super new to the DVD world. I just got a DVD/VCR combo.

I (think) I have successfuly recorded a tapr from my VCR to
the DVD using a DVD-R disc. My question is how do I now get
the DVD disc easily duplicated. I guess I can VCR @ DVD over
and over again, but that is way time consuming. Suggestions?

Abe.

Download DVD Decrypter.

Put your disk in the drive and use "iso read" in Decrypter. When it is done, put in a new blank disk into your burner and select "iso write". Burn at 4x speed or 2x if you are very careful, depending on the size of the movie, u should be done within 15-30 minutes.

Enjoy and welcome to aD!

Use Verbatim DVD-R, at 4x Write speed for best results. 256 RAM at least is recommended.

could be cheap media (use verbatim), or otherwise update your burner's firmware.

also, when i am ready to write and pick the file the program informs me that the file is unsupportable - i was under the impression that when the program reads the DVD it automaticaly puts it in the proper mode that can later be written from?

in an effort to be more specific; i successfuly read the DVD and i can now play it from my hard drive on the pc, but when i tag this same file for writing it to a blank DVD the program sends me a message "invalid or unsupported image file format"

hi

if DVD Decrypter reads in iso mode the same app can burn an iso

if ripped in files mode it can not!

ripping iso is ok aslong as it doesnt need shrinking?

but DVD Shrink can output iso / burn eith dvd decrypter
