Used dvd shrink then dvd decryptor to burn the 1st disc of firefly. The process went well no problems burning at all. The disc playes on my computer (plextor px-708a), a portable dvd player a toshiba sd - p2600, but not my samsung hd931 on my tv. Any ideas? I used to use dvdxcopy platinum using the same medium and burner and never had this problem before. The media is a ritek g04 4x dvd-r

In addition. The Samsung will read the disc and start playing it, but hangs up at the main menu.

Ritek G04's have been known to be "problematic". I suggest in trying a different brand of media.

If you have been burning at anything higher than 4x than slow it down to 4x or lower. Also as jmet said, riteks are good but not great stay with Verbatim Data Life Plus.

May have been the media or possibly a bad burn. Retried the burn on some memorex discs I had around and it came right up on all my players. Ty for the help.
