You will need to insert a non accepted sim into the phone. It will show "phone restricted", press undo and you will be given a code restriction box. Enter this code and press enter or OK.

Worked the first time!!! I believe Nokia 3220 from T-MOBILE is RH-49
I had to look for a sim card that is not T-mobile. (Will not work even if you have the old 3-4 yr old VOICESTREAM sim card ). Good thing i kept my Globe (Asia) sim card and everything went well!

i also need help unlocking a nokia 3220b rh-49 originally from tmobile. unlocking it to cingular.

should i have the cingular sim card in when i enter the unlock code?

edit add: i got mine unlocked.

use the unlock.nokiafree.org calculator

put in your IME
choose the network your phone is locked to
for phone type (model) choose ASIC 2
for GEN choose ASIC 6

then i used code #7. it worked!!


the only question ihave now is how do i get all this t-mobile stuff off? and i cannot send or receive multimedia messages. text messages work fine.

I hate to be a pain, but if someone could help me with the codes for my phone I would be most grateful. My phone is a Nokia 3220b and my IMEI # is 356660009379810 and it was T-Mobile in the U.S. I am going to be using it on Cingular.

the following worked for my nokia 3220b rh-49 from t-mobile.


1. go to www.unlock.nokiafree.org

2. enter your IME #

3. enter the network your phone is locked TO.

woke up one morning and the phone restriction showed up... i entered a few codes and it tells me its not allowed .. can someone help me out.... i got a lot of numbers in the phone memmory

for some erie reason my warranty ends in 5 days... 4 ..considering i cant ship it out now... but either way if i do send it in they say they are gonna flash the software which even though the guy told me wont affect the phone is most likely gonna wipe the memmory anyways.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

give up on trying to get codes. the people who used to do all of the free codes are now charging money for it. and those who are mods on forums like this will delete this message or lock the thread so noone can post.

Hi can you help me unlock my nokia 3220b locked to T-Mobile USA.
I've tried 3 times to enter codes generated with unlock.nokiafree.com and their software but it did't work.
I put non accepted card and then enter the codes but it says that the code is wrong.
