Problem ripping?

OK so I was able to rip True Crime: Streets of LA Fine, I loaded the Viper GC chip with Cobra 1.2 and tested the ISO by streaming it and it worked fine, so I burned it using Nero 6 onto a Maxell 8x dvd-r (I have the modified case to fit full sized dvd's). Turned the chip on and the game worked, I was stoked, so I tried ripping Mario Kart double dash, looked like it ripped fine, but I cant get it to stream, screen just goes black, I've read everything I possible can and cant seem to fine someone having the same prob.

When I try burning the ISO using Nero it stops at about 11 or 12% and stays there.

I tried different media, same prob, I checked all my settings, nothing, Dont seem to know what the prob might be. The image is ok according to FSTFIX

So far i've had this problem with the following games:
Mario Kart DD,
Soul Caliber 2

Testing it out with True crime AGAIN, hopefully it works.


Any input would be appreciated



EDIT: OK I've now looked into using other programs such as NGCDEVR02a and it's streaming much faster, let's hope this works

Well I went ahead and used the gcosripper plug-in for cobra 1.2 and ripped mario kart DD and I changed the settings in phoenix so that it would use the starcube 1.3 loader and the ACL PC server and it worked, I was able to stream the game fine.


Just out of curiousity, Is there a list somewhere of games that are backup-proof?
