Hi I need help with my PS2. This one powers on and read disks but he fan soes not work. After you press the restart button the fan moves but not as fast as it should. The model number is SCPH-50001/N.
I never opened this one up because of the problems with the other ones refered to in my last post.

it spins after you press restart twice but very slowly. When you first turn it on it does not spin. You have to press it a few times.

some people dont have those..I dont. I have a shop vac though and it works just fine, either one will work though.

what you could also try doing is taking the fan out of your ps2 and taking it apart and greese it.

I havent had to do that with my ps2 fan but I did it to my prossecor fan and it worked great after that.

Hi

I've just installed a dms4 eze pro onto my v10 ps2 , ,but like a jackass i've pulled the fan wire off the motherboard thinking it was a plug ! i'm not the best at soldering ( in fact never done it before) and i was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to reconnect it with messing it up. I've just ordered a 0.5mm solder iron off ebay will that do it? and what type of solder should i use?

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

ta in advance
