Hi,
Can anyone help? at some point in time i must have activated the security code on my sim free 6230i i'm in the process of migrating my mobile number from T Mobile to Carphone warehouse, i made the mistake of putting in a carphone warehouse sim card and now the phone book in the mobile is locked and i've forgotten what security number i used as it's been changed from the default 12345.
Can anyone help?

Hi i have a Nokia 6230i supposedly locked to Vodaphone,although it will accept a Tesco's sim card but not an O2 sim. It was a contract phone at one point. Can anyone help?
I have entered code #pw+936 532 650 417 444+7# once without success.
The IMEI number is: 356644000445754 & im in the UK...cheers ma dears & have a good un =)

Hi ok guys....i got it....the unlock code that worked for me is
#pw+047 503 565 577 114+1#
Try the above code if your phone is locked to Vodaphone UK....ya never know it could work =) Remember to keep the sim-card (of the network you want to change to) in your phone while you are trying to unlock the phone & only try a code 3 times =)

try number 7 first,if that fails try number 1 then 5.
try putting in the sim card,of the network you want to change to, and then input the above code(s)

I tried 7,1 and 5th unlock code, but the answer was still the same: wrong code...
My question is: Have I still any chance to unlock this mobile? I have heard that after three times mobile can be unlocked with cable only.
Is this true?

sorry it didnt work for you
some people say a phone can be tried 5 times....admittedly i tried mine more & it didnt lock it....=)
I entered these code number(s) with the sim card in of the network i wanted to change to & the first one worked for me (i also have a 6230i) =)

After 4th unlock code, I've got warning that "Restrictions can not be taken off...
It means that only three times I had tried...
