CD/DVD Labels??? Can I at least get ONE answer??

Do you think there is a correlation between the DVD PS2 backup not playing well and a DVD/CD Label (like the ones you print out and stick on)? I was just wondering if I should put labels on my backups because I've noticed the weight of the DVD is heavier and I didn't know if that would effect a backup or not...someone let me know what they do with theirs and that'd help me out.

i can't say if it would effect it or not. i doubt it. i just write the title of the game on the dvd.

i definately have had problems with cds & dvds while using
stick on (mainly glossy) labels, not sure if the wieght was
the issue, i works around heat being the problem,

now thanks to printable media i dont have that kinda of problems

i even had to put discs in warm soapy water to get the labels
off from time to time, then they'd work again

i can see where your coming from i dont like discs with just
felt tip wrote on em
