Sorry can't get into your staples link without a canadian postal code, so I can't check them out. But as gurnard states you cannot go wrong with Verbatim, Ritek, or Taiyo Yuden. My Staples just had a sale on the colored Fuji disks and both the + and -R formats are legitimate Taiyo Yuden. You may want to think about Fuji, as a brand. I know the +R in the silver tops are Taiyo Yuden, the -R can sometimes be ProDisc. Just make sure you get the MIJ.

i've read that online canadian retailer, blankmedia.ca, is pretty legit from the other canadian AD members...so, i would ASSUME the TYs are authentic~ :) i TOO cannot view your staples links as i am here in the U.S. :)
good luck

well, you are deciding between GREAT and GREAT media~ the choice is a HARD one...i rank TY as MY #1, with those Verbs MCC003 a VERY VERY close 2nd~ :)
i would be hard pressed to decide between THOSE 2 choices, but, in the end, i figure, at least for you...whichever is cheaper, go with that...they are BOTH GREAT medias...TY and Verbs 4 LIFE~ :)

You "TY and Verbs forever" guys have won me over. I have gotten both and as KIVORY states they are both great.(I still however have scads of Maxell (MIJ) RG03 on hand bought on sale, which are good disks too). On my Nero DVD disk quality tests the Verb +R 16X MCC004 edge out the TY (Yuden T02) ever soooooo slightly with a tad fewer PI errors and failures. (I think this has to do with burner and firmware so others may get different results with different burners and firmware.)All things being equal I will go with the Verbs; but if I see a great sale on the TYs I won't hesitate to scoop up a load of them, too.
