truong_99,
D/L DVDinfoPro ( free and you can google for it) and see what the media identifier states if you have already bought them. There is nothing in the add to lead me to believe these are TY's although they could be. Why no ask media superstore who the real manuf. of the disks are?

how long did the disc storage last??? Have no idea what you mean by that statement

i like RitekG05s just fine...these are DEFINITELY NOT Taiyo Yuden made, but, i personally like them very much. i rank them 3rd on my list of good quality media.

1. Taiyo Yuden
2. Verbatim
3. Ritek G05

this is of course MY preference in media, but, the Riteks work VERY well on my particular setup~ :)

Recommended Media:

Taiyo Yuden 4x dvd-r TYGO1/ 8x dvd-r TYGO2/ 8x dvd+r YUDEN000T02/ 16x dvd+r YUDEN000T03
Verbatim 8x dvd+r MCC003
Verbatim dvd+r DL (MKM001)= flawless no compression backups

I can't really comment on the Ritek simply because I've never used them before. So, I'll just throw you an example of what I prefer/like the most in order alright.

01) genuine Taiyo Yuden (including both Fuji and Sony "Made In Japan")
02) Maxell ("Made In Japan" from Hitachi)
03) Verbatim (MCC003 for single layer and MKM-001-00 for DL media)

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.
