I can tell that a lot of you out there are having issues copying dvd's I have copyed over 500 dvd's with no issues all working fine.
Here's What i do
1 use dvd shrink as a copying tool only
2 use dvd decrypter as a burning tool only (4 speed only)
3 Columbia pictures and sony cant be copyed just using dvd shrink and
dvd decryper on the own you need the following programme.
DVD Region+CSS Free is the programme it works automatically in the background when using dvd shrink.
Download a free 30 day trail at dvdidle.com or buy on line at SOFTPEDIA IT COST ME 33.43 Euro.

Why not just use for ripping, it would have broken the encryption it has for every disk I backed up including the Sony ARccOS and its free.

I personally have not had a problem with this movie company...

The method i use is as follows:

1) DVD Decrypter in file mode to ripp to you hard drive.

2) DVD Shrink to compress the movie into a subfolder...

3) Use CloneDVD 2 to ripp to disc... easy as pie... or an alternate u can use DVD Decrypter in ISO Mode and ripp to disc that way...

Check out the guide in my sig...

@TONYDVD - glad you moved off those Bulkpaqs then. it took me about 500 of them before i had any problems with them, then i found they were FAKE Taiyo Yudens, then i wised up and now stick with Verbatim datalifeplus for all my burns, with some Genuine Taiyo Yuden when i can get them too.

sometimes some dvds when using DVD Shrink wont show up title 1 (main movie) so unless you have a 8.5GB DISK YOU CAN ONLY COPY THE WHOLE DISK

Ill tell u how to burn dvds.

1st get a copy of AnyDVD latest version, dont burn without it.

2nd get Nero recode, set it to high quality 2 pass and slow burn

takes about 2 hrs, but the 2nd pass makes sure it doesnt miss anything.

If u cant burn somthing with nerorecode then shrink usually will do the trick.
