Hi,

I have just purchased a Rimage PrismPlus.
It has NOT arrived yet...so I wanted to know if anyone else has one.
I would like to make my backups look like the O.D.
I would like to know what program you scan the DVD image with?
What disk are the best to print on and laminate.
(heard TY 4x printable)
If anyone has a similar machine(Primera Accent,Rimage Everest...etc)
please let me know the best route to go.

hi buddy,

well, i think he really took offense and had a go w/ flip~ :) i THINK neph saw it and took it upon himself to do flip a favor :P

the thermal printing, from what i know about it, is almost exact replica of the original dvd...while i use a Epson R300 and use inkjet printing, i find the quality to be "good enough" for my printing dvd purposes...

the thermal printing is basically "taking it up a notch"...it's much pricier and the samples that i HAVE seen are practically indistinguishable from the originals~ :) i guess if you want a "professional look" to your dvds, thermal is the way to go...i never owned a thermal printer or know anyone that has one, but i've seen samples of thermal printed dvds...it's quite eye catching if you ask me...

have a good one buddy...as with lightscribe, i think it will become MORE popular ONCE they introduce color into the foray~ :) i haven't experimented in that field yet either, i don't have a lightscribe capable burner...heheeh
