you have put down every single person in here that has said 1 positive thing about the PSP. Does your daddy own stock in Nintendo or something? People are entitled to their own opinion, you can have whatever little spiffy hand held gaming device your little heart desires and no one really gives a crap except you. In this forum you need to get down off of your Nintendo high horse before you are totally removed from it. If joe-User wants a PSP thats ok, joe dont give 2 shits about the hand held you play, let him play what he wants.
Reply:
If "joe-User" doesn't care then let him not care. He's missing out. I can hardly say anyone in this forum is "Joe-User" because you all care greatly about what I say about the PSP & how I support the DS. Everyone "gave a crap" when I posted my Pspathetic thread... If it really was some fanboy nonsense, it would have no effect on anyone. But there is some reason in my words isn't there?

Regarding Australian Retailers dumping Nintendo.
Your Question: Who are Dick Smith Electronics, Coles-Myer, David Jones Dept Stores, and Electronics Boutique? and Why is the fact that they have dumped Nintendo so important?
Answer:
Dick Smith Electronics is part of Woolworths and is the 2nd largest retailer in Australia. Coles Myer is #1, David Jones is the 4th largest, and Electronics Boutique is probably the largest "games only" retailer. Plus: Harvey Normans Discounts (the 3rd largest) also doesn't sell Nintendo any more - So the top 5 retailers in the whole country say Nintendo Sucks. CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE GOOD JOB NINTENDO AUSTRALIA! GIVE YOURSELF A PAT ON THE BACK.
Reply:
YES good job nintendo Australia for failing. Good job Sony USA, Japan and Canada for failing.
They're equal handhelds... let's stay there.
NO!

no you're wrong, EVERYONE in here is "joe-user", and it looks to me like none of them give a crap what you say. you like the DS, good for you, i sincerly hope you get full enjoyment out of it. other people like the PSP, who the hell really cares? you are the one on the anti-PSP crusade, no one else. Everyone else is simply stating their own opinions just as you are, but i dont see anyone insulting you for your like of the DS, only their disagreement of the things you are saying about the PSP. It really doesn't matter because this thread has nearly run it's course already and is soon to be closed.

This is a funny argument fact is I own them both and with the exception of Advanced Wars my DS has only collected dust becasue of the lack of games out for it that are anything more than ports of old Advanced or other nintendo titles. Where as though there have been a lack of over all games for the psp there were other reasons to use it such as music and movies, once games started comming out for it its been no contest which is upsetting because im a nintendo Fan they just dont seem to be supporting the DS like i would have hoped. it did seem that there was some uneeded jabs made at the fans of the PSP and its rather sad as we are all gamers and should get along no matter what. People just dont want to feel left out or like they dont have the most "IN" thing who cares. If you have fun with The DS Great but realize that you liking it does not make it the greatest thing on the planet, or vice versa.

Actually the DS is a lot better than the PSP in my opinion. I think the tought screen is a big feature and the picto-chat. I think games are less expenisive for the DS then the PSP. DS does have more of the classics ( mario e.t.c ). I think u will get more enjoyment out of the DS if u like creative gaming. and well gaming the way you want it. I think the DS pwns the PSP.

sorry creaky i hope my sig is a better now i haven't been on here in a wile and a few things have changed. Anyways back to the topic
with the psp and the ds it really depends what your into, the ds to me right from the start seemed like a conlose that was based for litte kids it didn't really interest, me but with the psp when that came out and games like gta and metal gear solid came out it got me stright away more interesting games and such
Graphics wise i'd say the psp would be betta
and whats with the mini version of there consoles they have the gba mini it to small and now the ds light ?????

I still think the PSP is better than DS. It has the games I want, and if I'm not listening to games, I can watch movies off of my Memory stick or listen to MP3s.

Well i own both consoles, and i prefer the PSP. I think its more convenient with its movie and music options. But also, it might not seem big to you guys, but the material of the DS is a bit...cheap...my opinion.

Yeah, sorry i didnt explain it properly. I mean as in the material they used, it seems to me as if i drop it i might just snap something. Where as the PSP to me seems solid and compact.

The only thing DS has over the PSP is you cant emulate DS games on a PSP. BUT you cant emulate shit on a DS without investing an extra 100 bones. All DS really has is the mario games and yeah.. they are pretty fun but not worth it. Im tempted to trade in my NDS and all the games for store credit. I dunno what to buy cos I wont have enough for ps3 and nothing else to buy for a PSP cos I can DO ANYTHING and PLAY any game. Maybe the tv adapter would be cool. I could figure out the ebay thing . as my NDS is only a few monthes old and barely used... decisions decisions.

Everyone in this forum(or at least everyone i now) knows that the psp is better than the ds.
No offence but why dont we just let this thread die because its been brought by the same people (usually the one who started it)for no important reason.

nice topic..
well since i was able to borrow a ds for a week, here's my opinion:
GRAPHICS: psp definately wins, no doubt!!
AUDIO: psp too
GAMES: well i think both, i enjoyed marios series too, the things is that psp umds are way too expensive than that of the ds. but you can always go for the iso anyway. but still, ds minicd's can be easily be made(iso download then burn), and they can be really shared too.
BROWSING: well i think i'm gonna give the ds the upper hand because it has the touchscreen, but the latest fw on psp gives 8s browsing hitback.
UPDATES: definately the psp!!
HARDWARE: psp of course!! everytime i go to buy accessories on my psp, psp has just too much compared with ds. and what's more cool is that there are always new things that are arriving form time to time and you can even make your own if you are good with silicons.
SOFTWARE: psp, i think. just take a look at pspvideo9.
POPULARITY: i'm still confused here's a sruvey survey

GRAPHICS: Psp
AUDIO: Tied I dont tell the difference its stereo on both
GAMES:DS for sure the library is much bigger
BROWSING:DS much better
UPDATES:PSP
HARDWARE: Well you cant really compare PSP wins in graphics but DS comes back with a new style of playing with a touch screen, games that NEVER load and accerories are the same so I will say Tied
SOFTWARE:Well Tied DS you can buy max media player and it comes with a 1gb micro sd card for only 129.95AU a 1gb ms pro duo costs around 119.95 for sony ones both can connect to the PC and sync if you have the max media player so they are tied for sure here.
P.S for popularity DS has sold about 10,000 more then PSP has and is selling about 6.5% more every month comapred to the psp's
For me its 4:4 (DS:PSP)
But I think DS has a larger fan base then PSP does because DS gives them something new altoghter about 300 more games then PSP and is not the same as its home console when I play the PSP I fell like im playing a ps2 why? because about 75% of the games are exactly like ps2 games and the PSP has ALOT of loading time.
