DVD Decrypter -vs- AnyDVD/DVD43 for ripping

Should I always use DVD Decrypter to pull info off a DVD or is it alright to use AnyDVD and DVD43 to just pull the info off directly, would there be any problems?

I would use DVD Decrypter regardless when it comes to DVD9's and when it comes to single layed discs DVD5's I would just runn AnyDVD or DVD 43 in the background never together at the same time but runnig DVD Decrypter first will eliminate the protection in the first place and then its easy street...

For dual layed disc dont forget to either compress with CloneDVD2 or DVD Shrink...

Welcome to aD!
AnyDVD or DVD43 are not rippers. They are just drivers that run in the background to fool your copying software to think there is no protection. DVD43 is free however AnyDVD is updated often and well worth the $. Slysoft the makers seem to stay ahead of any copy protections.
They will work w/ most of the copy software out there.
Decrypter is free and can still handle region 1 dvd's at this time.
