Hey sniper,

Can you try another network adapter? Also if you can try hooking the hdd up to your PC and see if WinHIP has any problems reading or transferring a game to the hdd.

I don't know if you know but you have to connect the Ps2 hdd up as a slave drive connected to your PC hdd, you can download WinHIP from:

http://www.exploitstation.com/index.php?page=downloads

hdl_dumb works well too, you can also get it from http://www.exploitstation.com/index.php?page=downloads when loaded it will auto recognize the drive if hooked to pc.

you need to have the hdd formated in your ps2, not your pc. after this is done, hook it up to pc. you pc will see it hooked up, but will not recognize any of the files as being valid. you need to have either hdl_dumb or winhiip installed on pc. run one of the two, they will recognize the hdd and read it. windows will not read any of the file types on hdd.

it will show up as a drive but you wont be able to read any of the files with windows. will have to use dumb or winhiip to read or add files to it. winhiip is has more errors than hdl_dumb. but with winhiip you can transfer files back to your pc and not with hdl_dumb.
