My xbox doesnt work anymore

Hey all I went to to turn my xbox on today and when I press the power button it goes green then shuts off. Then it comes back on and the light flashes yellow. Then it shuts off again. Then it turns back on once more and keeps flashing yellow. The only way to turn it off then is to unplug the xbox. During the whole time all you can hear is the fan running. If it has anything to do with this my Xbox is softmodded. If someone could tell me that would be nice thanks.

Most of the time when you get the amber color, it means that your Xbox has a video display problem, and the problem is usually the video cord. You could try switching to another video mode by changing the cable. I currently have an Xbox that displays this error when connected to the standard composite video cable but boots fine when connected to a RF adapter cord.

Now, since your Xbox is softmodded, I may be going in the complete wrong direction.

Hi Lloyd here i was thinking your video as well...
But, you have a sofemod... when it is red yellow and green that your bios for the sofemod are gone from off your motherboard...
But when it comes on and then goes right back off..your motherboard either it be some how gotten it software removed or your Xbox has just burned out ? if it was not sofemoded you might be able to take it some where and get it check out but a store like game-spot might not even look at it.
And Xbox will not get any Xbox that has been moded in any way repaired?put it on Ebay and try to get a new one..

if it's the right version there'a a 29 wire fix.......it's still be easier to art out your box and buy a new one.
