I need help with controller problem. I switched controllers from port 1 to port 2 and now my unit does not read any controller I have in port 1. I've tried cutting unit off and doing everything I can think of but it will not work anymore. Any suggestion would be appreciated!

don't know exactly why that would happen but you can try another controller port and see what happens

I tried switching ports and it doesn't work. Has anyone ever heard of this?

so you opened up the ps2 and took out the memory card and controller port and switch it with a new one or another one and it didn't work.

then maybe its the ribbon cable that is properly connected.
