I am a new user of HD advance. I am having several problems. You guys might be able to help me out. First, I can only convert some of the imports and back-up DVDs, not even 50% successful rate. I tried by opening the top already, so I did not go through the tray, still some of the DVDs were detected as invalid. Second, I successfully downloaded MGS:Snake Eater, but can't play it, even I try to enable the Mode1,2,3. Still, after I run it, the screen is blank. The disc is fine cause I played directly from the DVD before.
Please help me out...

The easiest way to get backups onto your hdd is by using WinHIP, you need to connect your Ps2 hdd up to your PC but it's a very handy tool and you don't get any problems like you would when you convert a game on to the hdd using the Ps2. I imported Mgs3 and it works fine, if i remember right i had a few errors when i tried to put it on the hdd using the Ps2 but after using WinHIP it worked fine.
