It is considered screaming.
Then since i have no idea what Black Ice is

sorry about that. this is my first time trying to make a backup of one of my ps2 games. i am trying to make a copy of Final Fantasy X. black_ice is a member that posted instructions under the "Patching, Rebuilding games, how do you do it? (Guide)" I got to step 5 in his instructions, and then the cddvdgen gave me that error message i posted earlier. "too short location length. (less then 5000 sector"

Try this....

1. Get DVD Decrypter
2. Click on Mode->ISO->Read
3. Select your source drive and then select where to output the image.
4. Click the Decrypt button, the big button at the bottom you can't miss it.
5. One the image is extracted, click Mode->ISO->Write.
6. Select your extracted image and then click the Write button (formerly the Decrypt button. Burn at a low speed like 2x.

Simple enough, and it's how I made my backup of FFX.

The above method will work as long as the games
does not need to be rebuilt or patched.
Which only about 5% of them do.

Yep, agree... no patching or rebuilding needed for ffx when used with sm3.6, don't know about earlier versions though.
