Newbie, simple question on blank media

This is my first post here, so sorry if it's too simple a question or it's in the wrong place.

I recently ordered a 12 disc demo pack (P-DPDVD-R) from allmediaoutlet.com, the contents listed were:

2 pcs 1X Lead Data DVD-R 4.7GB DVD
2 pcs 1X Princo DVD-R 4.7GB
2 pcs 1X (upgrade 2X) Ritek DVD-R 4.7GB
2 pcs "True 2X" DVD-R 4.7GB
2 pcs 2X Taiyo Yuden DVD-R 4.7GB
2 pcs 4X Ritek DVD-R 4.7GB

What I received was (numbers written on sleeves:
2 pcs DVD-R/2X/04
2 pcs DVD-R/4.7/2X/08
2 pcs DVD-R/4.7/GEN06
2 pcs DVD-R/4X/NP/07
2 pcs DVD-R/4.7G04W

I called these people and asked them why I only got 10 discs, they asked me which ones I was missing and I asked how I could tell from the numbers on the sleeves. Long story short, two more are being sent to me.

After checking with ADVDInfo, I found:

2 pcs yuden 2x (as advertised)
2 pcs princo 1x (as advertised)
2 pcs tdkg02
2 pcs sony
2 pcs ritek04 (as advertised? is this a 4x?)

The Sony and TDK aren't even listed as part of their pack - are these rebadged OEMs? I heard a little about the fake TDKs some company was selling...

So, anyone else have this kinda a crappy service from them? I'm not using them anymore since they can't even answer a simple question.

Well done for trying as many media types as possible. I hardly recognise any of the types !!

Never mind.

One type is missing.

Datawrite Classic

Do a search on the web.

Get hold of a few copies.

Burn them.

Play them.

Enjoy !!

Don't waste any more time.

I thought Princo and Ritek were popular cheap brands? Anyway, do you have a link to the cheapest place to get those Datawrite Classics?

There are links to other sites that give more background to this media.

They are out of stock at present, but are due a delivery on the 20th

You're right about Ritek, they too are a good brand. As for Princo, I have read lots of bad things about them ,with very little good.
