I have two dvdr drives in my computer. At one time I could burn two dvd's at a time using dvd decrypter. One burner is a NEC 8x burner and the other is an Atapi 4x burner. The problem I have is now I can shrink and read from the atapi drive but when I burn a dvd using it and install it in my player it comes up as an error and says "check region code". When I look at the properties of the drive in My computer it says that the region is 1. The NEC drive works fine. Does the fact that I have both AnyDVD and DVD431 installed have anything to do with this? I was thinking I may have to visit the firmware website to reset my atapi drive. Would this Help?

so whats the region code of the disc you are trying to copy.By having both DVD43 and slysofts AnyDVD installed . one thought could be they are cancelling each other one so it cant actually bypass the css as it is conflicting with each other but i doubt it.I think you need to tell us the dvd disc region code..

Remember your burner is region 1 but if you have AnyDVD running you will be able to do any region

Hey Andmerr, The disk I burn are supposedly region 1 disks. I save the files as image files. When I try to burn the same movies with the atapi burner the "check region code" error occurs, but when I burn them with the NEC I have no problem. I have tried disabling them both AnyDVD and DVD43 but still have the same problem. This happens when I use either Decrypter or Nero.
