Magic Swap v3.6 DOES IT WORK OR WHAT?

Hi,
I have tried Swap magic v3.6 in so many ways and used different cds and got no where. I have searched and contacted many sites but recieved no replies not even from the original web site www.swapmagic3.com.
First want to make sure of one thing does Swap magic v3.6 play import new bought games (not backups)?
I have a PS2 PAL version and just received my Swap V.3.6. There is a problem I followed the instruction entirely correct but I had no luck playing the NTSC games that I have.
However there might have been some problems like when asked for Video mode I tried both Pal and NTSC in each case I was asked twice to choose the video mode so choose the same thing either i.e. PAL twice or NTSC twice when asked, is this correct.
Then following the rest of the instruction I ended up with a blue disk and memory card slot options (never reached the option where it shows a screen with press X), and finally pressed X on the blue disk then a purple background came up saying Please ?Insert A Playstation 2 Format Disk?? Ah by the way the game is a cd not DVD I am sure of that and I used the right swap cd.
What about the Video mode option I have PAL system and want to play NTSC games cd, do I choose Normal mode since I tried both other modes and didn't work?
When should I insert the slide tool, at what stage exactly, when it asks to choose the video mode or after selecting the video mode and reaching the memory + blue disk screen?
Lastly is the Swap V3.6 plays original import games (e.g. NTSC) and not just backups?
PLEASE HELP ME AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!

What version PS2 do you have.
Swap magic 3.6 is for V9 and later
I have Swap Magic to but it works perfect

Its OK got it working after trying lots of time. One question thu, is there a way of playing the import game after turning off the PS2? or do I have to use the Swap v.3.6 again, because this a bit of a bother and can damage the PS2 (i.e.using the slid tool) in the long term, Don't you think so?

Yes you will have to use Swap Magic again every single time.
Since it's to big to fit on a MC.
If you don't want your laser to be damaged over long period i'd use a usb harddisk.
you'll have to install a chip matrix/dms but it's worth it.

You could also buy a fliptop.Its a case for your ps2 it has a lid so you dont need the slide tool kinda like the slim PS2.
This cases come in many colers and are very pretty lookin.
Look around a little you will find more on the fliptop

actually 3.6 is for v1 to 12 but even works on 13...

On swap magic or when burning the game?
If its on swap magic its easy just highlight video mode>press X till you get to the right one.

Simple answer no, ps2 games are pressed not burnt, when they are pressed they have a code the PS2 code, it is recognized when the game is put in, which is why burnt games dont work :)

are you doing the second slide,
the one that realigns the laser with the disc?
For about an hour i was pulling my hair out when I first got mine,
then I figured out that you have to do the second slide to get the games to work.
