Ive got a game in ISO form on my laptop, and i need to transfer it over to my PS2. Usually i would transfer the ISO to my dads desktop computer and plug my PS2 HD into that and transfer it that way. However, that is no longer an option as I am at school with no desktop availible to me. I remember reading something a while ago about a program that let you transfer ISOs and such to the PS2 via a ethernet cable. What was that program? hows it work? what is the IP address of the PS2? (im assuming that ill need to know that) anything else i should know?
I have to transfer mine from a laptop also. I already had a firwire/usb 2.0 external box that I used for a dvd burner. When I need to transfer a game, I just yank the dvd burner out and put in the harddrive and use ps2 handiness to make the transfer. Works everytime. This may not be what your looking for but it works for me. These external boxes are fairly cheep.
i looked through a few pages of google, but couldnt find a download for ps2 handiness...ive been trying to get it to work with winhiip and hdl dumb, but ot no avail. When i select start transfer it says my hard drive is not plugged in. I have my ethernet cable plugged into the network adapter in the back, and the PS2 is on with nothing in it so its getting power. But i cant figure out why the games wont transfer and the hard drive wont be recognized by those programs...
help?
im drowning
I found someone with the same problem as me on the psx forums, he never got a response either but he explains it better than i did, so maybe the way he worded it will make sense to someone....
