I searched, and there didn't seem to be a solid answer for this one.

I'd like to verify once and for all what the exact procedure is, if any, to use Swap Magic and a fliptop to boot a backup of Action Replay, and then launch a backup of a game with codes. (For example, GTA: San Andreas) Personally, I have a v7 US PS2 and SM 3.3.

Is an AR dongle necessary for the memcard slot, or are there versions of A.R. that will work without it?

Also, what version of Action Replay, that will work for this, is best for maximum compatibility or features?
