Hi Folks, I was just wondering if I'll be able to play online or do update for my game with my Magic 3.1+ (PS2 v.4). I don't have the Net adapter but' considering buying one if I can play with a modchip. And if it works, what are the steps I need to do for playing or updating my back-up games.

You can play online, but you'll have to turn the chip off before you go online, cause the ps2's dnas authentication recognises cheat cards and modchips, which might result in being banned from the online community for a few days if repeated more than once.

like above.
you will still need a flip top and swap magic if you
want to play online because the mod chip will have to
be disabled.
You have to patch the game for online play
and i am sure a serch of these forums will give you a tutorial
on how to do it as i linked someone to one earlier today.
