Dvdcopy3 & Dvdcopy4 Cannot start Disc Copy problem

Hi There I have used dvdcopy3 and now the new dvdcopy4 and they usually work great.
The problem started yesturday and what happens is that when i go to the option file to DVD and I set it all up and tell it to start i get a error message saying "Cannot Start Disc Copy".

Can anybody help me out?

I tried using the new DVDcopy4 but i get the same problem

Try installing Direct X9, see their installation instructions below. If you already have it try restarting your computer. This happened to me last night. Good Luck!

whenever i have problems with either of those intervideo products, i just do a complete uninstall and then a FRESH install again, that has cured my issues on a few problem times...other than that, don't know what else to suggest...i don't use these programs extensively, but a fresh install fixes it for me personally~ :)

I found out that DVDCOPY3 &4 says cannot start disc copy if the sound is encoded in AC3

@skyaxe, I use Copy 3 quite frequently, quick ? are you running AnyDVD in the background? DVD43? RegionFree? Also, I have had only one occurance with this at the very beginning and I uninstalled and then reinstalled and there were no problems. I also have AnyDVD set up so that Interactual Video does not start up. That has been an issue with me and the programs I use. Since that time Intercopy 3, Clonedvd2 and many others work properly with no problems. Let me know and i'll try to help.
