When I go to copy this movie it gets to around 40% in the analysing phase I then get the error message (Failed to read file F:\ Data Error(Cyclic redundancy Check). I have tried using DVD encrypter and still get error message. Any suggestions on this problem

I think the crc errors are mostly caused by a dirty or damaged disc. You might try cleaning or removing minor scratches using MILD abrasive such as toothpaste. Always wipe disc from inside to outside. Let me know if this helps.

You could also have a bad pressing of the original. If all else fails, return original for another copy.

I tried what you suggested but it did not work. I still get the same error message. Any more suggestions??

Welcome at aD!
Try ripping with Decrypter then open the file in Shrink to finish the job. Imo decrypter is the best ripper out there - if can't do it nothing can - you'll need to exhange it for a new one. As davidw001 said you may have a bad press.

Take it back and get anothrt original it is prabably a bad disk. You can try DVDFab Decrpter it sometimes works better on scratched disks Available from http://www.filepedia.com under rippers
