I don't get it.... I used DVDshrink to burn Kingpin with no compression.... burnt it at 4x on an mcc003.... no other progs running during burning.... and it looks all pixelated (to me anyways, i am pretty picky)?!

I sooo do NOT get this...lol

I burned Shrek and hour ago at 93%, and it looks great! Both movies were burned in full screen format....

Celeron 1.4GHz, 384M of RAM, LG-4163 with most updated firmware, winxp, ripping with shrink, burning with nero using shrink...

Any suggestions?

Have you tried running it through Decrypter? (then shrink)

FYI:

384M of RAM
...seems a slightly low, you might consider getting more. Or (if you actually have 512 RAM) find out what's hogging up your RAM.

Does decrypter do a better job at decoding?

I have been contemplating rebuilder and CCE, but wanna try it out forst... sounds like its first rate quality

All DVD Decrypter does is ripps the movie to a folder on your hard drive...

U need somethin like DVD Shrink or CloneDVD 2 that Compresses the files to fit on a single layered disc...

Here is the guide for CloneDVD 2 and DVD Shrink

DVD Shrink

1)http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd9_to_dvdr_with_dvd_shr...

CloneDVD2

2)http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/full_dvd_to_dvdr_with_clo...

I hope that helps u with compression...
