1.How do i find out what version ps2 i have?
2. I would like to make back up coppies of my ncaa and madden football games im running nero and dvd shrink do i need any additional programs? any help would be apreciated.

You can backup your games with Nero..or...Alcohol 120%..or DVD Decrypter.
All these programs can make an image(iso or bin/cue) out of the original games.
After that u can burn them with the same program. I prefer DVD Decrypter and Alcohol 120%.

you will need to Mod your PS2 with a modchip or buy swap magic and get a slide tool or flip top to sawp the disc with swap magic.

You CAN NOT burn a copy of swap magic. You have to buy it.

Then use Nero or DVD Decryptor to rip an image file of the disc then burn it.

i tried using Alcohol 120% but it would not work, i just finished trying to backup my copy of ray using shrink and the trial copy of Nero and it did not work, i guess im back the the drawing board.
the shrink portion worked fine although very slowly but the born part failed, are there settings that need to be made to Nero to complete the process

like mentioned above, how is your PS2 modded
to play back ups?
If it isn't then you will have to do that first
