...instead of CloneDVD?

Is there something wrong with CloneDVD for copying PS2 discs? I mean, a program for DVD video encryption isn't gonna do jack for PS2 games, so why not make a 1:1 copy of a DVD game?

Am I missing something?

you answered your own ?. encryption. almost all dvd's made now are encrypted, game or movie. DVD Decrypter removes the encryption.

DVD Decrypter is the King Of Ripper regardless if it's a dvd movie or PS2 game. In another word, DVD Decrypter is still the top dog.

Excuse my ignorance but, I'm using DVD shrink to copy the DVD's (single and Dual layer) to my harddrive and Decripter opens up automatically when shrink is finished and burns it to a single layer DVD...
from what I read on these forums here I'm doing it the wrong way around??? Can anyone explain that to me?

regards
Noon2u

oops Iforgot to say... the process I use works fine...

thats fine you can have DVD Shrink open it and then decripter to burn its because shrink dosnt have a burner so it uses your own that is installed you can change it to burn with what ever software you want but what i say is if it isnt broken dont fix it

In regards to the original question it may have something to do with DVD Decrypter being free. As opposed to CloneDVD which isn't. I've never used DVD Shrink on a PS2 game. Not sure why anyone would, of if they even could seeing as it's a program made to transcode DVD video..

As far as I know any program that can make a disk image should do just fine with a PS2 game. DVD Decrypter can do that great. And it's well tested with PS2 games.
