can you delete duplicates in your shrink window for example if there are two Ace.5 English, is it ok to take one away or is it going to mess up the movie? Sin City is too big to burn help!

If you start the movie playing after encoding in the bottom left of the DVDShrink window, you can right click on the video playing and choose the audio tracks that you want to keep. I used still images and no audio for the menus and dropped the compression on the special features of this movie before backing up. I also took out all unwanted audio and subtitles.

OK I will try it, it sounds like you have been doing this for a long time you sound very experienced. What scares me about playing with this software is I will mess it up and wont know how to set it back to originial setting. I have only had a problem with a few dvd's, in majority I have no problem. I will try to do this, its just that I am new to fixing a problem DVD I have burned about 100 dvds and the only two other movies I had problems with were The Grudge and Residental Evil and someone else did it for me at their home.

The Grudge and Resident Evil both use the new sony copy protection. With AnyDVD running in the back ground these films are cake! I started with the free trial and bought it before the first week was up. Great program. It was the new sony protection that brought me to this site and all the great, helpful people here. Let me know how it goes! And, welcome to the forum!

@mysnshn, davidw001 gave good advice. I agree with him about AnyDVD. I also had the trial, dl @ www.slysoft.com, and then made the purchase. Many have purchased clonddvd2/anydvd combo to save money. I did and clonedvd2 is a great prog. I use that and many others but shink (and Nero recode 2 the paid prog.) do a good job and don't worry because everyone here is here to help everyone. Have fun and happy burning.
I would also recommend downloading dvdidentifier (it's free) and check your media you use. Use great media (Taiyo Yuden, Verbatims, Maxell's, FuJi's , and even some Sony's.) burn slow and you will have years of enjoyment. I also booktype my +R's so that they play in a wider variety of players. Many burners can be book type and many can be upgraded by firmware which allows them to be booktype.

dvddientifier can be down loaded @ http://dvdidentifier.cdfreaks.com/
anydvd/clonedvd2 @ www.slysoft.com
intervideocopy3 (now 4) @ www.intervideo.com (14 day trial...great quality, some have issues with re-authoring)

We can help just let us know.
