For the past year or so, i've been trying to find "a working" version of SWAP MAGiC for my PS2 console. I have downloaded numerous versions from various sources , such via emule, torrents, but, with the same failing results. Throughout this forum and plenty others, i have heard people referring to this boot cd as magic.....to me, it's like UFOs. I have heard of such a thing, but haven't witness anything yet.
Please, if anyone out there has Swap Magic, give me a link. This will be surely appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Unless you have a modded PS2, a back-up PS2 disk just will not work.
Someone may prove me wrong, but in all the posts I have read, and from what I have experienced myself, copies do not work without some form of crack/mod.
There is a really nice mem card exploit out there that I use and it works perfectly.
I run almost all of my games from my HD, but there is a cogswap loader included with the software bundle you can use.

But unless somoene knows a way for the PS2 to load a back-up (which is what the downloaded swap magic is)without a mod you will never be able to load it up.

Just a quick reply, Than924 is absolutely right, there is no way of booting a backup of swapmagic without a modchip, but, then again, if you have a modchip, there's no need to have a backup of swapmagic...
So, either invest in an original swapmagic with a fliptop or slidecard, or get a modchip.
I personaly use HDloader and Memory card exploit , i use HDD for most of my games but HDloader has a compatability list and so i use Cog Swap Loader somtimes.. , i recomend getting HD but it will cost u a bit more . and mem card exploit is good for games , movies and music , cuase PS2 cant read divx/avi/VCD or anything exept DVD and wmv and there is an exploit which enables ur PS2 to be able to read nearly every format of video :D so yeh.
BTW: does anyone know were i can get Swap Magic Exploit?? cuase i hate Cog Swap Loader
