I think i got a pretty good deal at best buys this morning . a 50 spindle pack of 1x 8 sony dvd+r made in japan.(taiyo yuden) yuden000 (t02) i got this 50 spindle of dvd+r for 19.95..

Those are excellent discs.That's the max price I pay for them.
I'm about 40 miles from the nearest best buy.The fuji +8x japanese will also code as Yuden000-T02. I usually run across the same ones at staples,just have to sort out the spindles.

its been a while since i have posted in the media forum, as i have been hovering the safety valve alot......... but anyway, its a good deal yes, but nothing new. best buy always has sales on both the sony and the verbs, every other week, one goes on sale. 50 pack + or - for 19.99 ans the fujis too, sometimes 25 for 9.99 and 50 for 19.99..... circuit city does it too.
but just an FYI.... the sale happens every other week on one of em.

I'm waiting for Staples to put their fuji's on sale again- spindle of 30 for $9.94.
33 cents apiece for Yuden000-T02! Sweet!!!!!

dang, that is good. the closest i got to staples here, is comp usa, office depot, and office max/ the only one who has good media really is office depot. other then that, i got best buy and circuit city and sam's............. oh i love sam's, especially the samples on sundays. its a free lunch buffet !!

I've been grabbing the Office Depot +8x spindles of 100 up for anywhere from $28- $30 a pop. Ritek-r03 on last 2 batches. Down to my last 100 pack.

All the sony +1x-8x 25 pack spindles at my nearby staples are Made in Taiwan,so they are likely to code as SonyD11. Still very good media,but not yuden000-T02 good.

The Sony 1x-8x +R packs that are labeled Made in Taiwan may not be. I bought a 75 pack from Sam's that were YUDEN000-T02 discs. Labeled as made in Taiwan. All 75 of them, and they burnt at 12X. I got another 75 pack and they were SonyD11 and burnt at 8X. I noticed that the new discs I got had a different label that had an Accucore logo on them. I then went back to Sam's and got two 75 packs of the old discs, with no logo, and they were SONYD11 discs.
So you never know what you may get.
