When my burner starts to burn through Shrink/Nero, on this particular season series it displays a message that says "DVD-Video files reallocation completed (no file modified)" Does that mean that it didn't have to compress the DVD?

I think it was around 3,099. Is it common for "season" discs to not need compressed? The last 2 series I've done haven't needed it.
Also, I heard something about writing programs leaving some kind of mark on the DVD's they have decrypted and burned and that b/c of it, it can be traced back to the computer who did it. Is that true or is that just to scare people into not burning what they don't own? I'm curious about it b/c if I ever wanted to sell any of my originals at a resale shop, I don't know where they would end up and I don't want someone tracing the burn back to me and causing me trouble. Know what I mean?

every single burn of mine has that same message. now that you mention it i've not once bothered to look see what it really means. i only look into stuff like that when people have problems with allocation, ie non-compliant such as this example - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/221750

LOL (2nd question you had) There have been a few threads about this. Don't believe it. Sell your originals just not the backups.
