I have 24 different AVI files on my computer, that I would like to burn to 6 different DVD-Rs. I want to put 4 AVIs on each disk, but I don't know how to do this. I found the guide here on Afterdawn about converting AVI files to ISO files for burning with Decrypter, but it doesn't cover adding more than 1 AVI to a single ISO. Can anybody help me?

Thanks,
Robert

need to know how large your files are?
what burning programs you have?
what burner you have?
what media are you gonna use?
are these down loaded files or are you wanting to back up originals?

1. Each file is about 320mb in size.
2. I DVD Decrypter, Nero, and Roxio Easy DVD Creator 5.
3. I'll be using standard 4.7gb DVD-Rs.
4. They are downloaded AVI files.

what will be your blank media choice? Nero and roxio dont play well together, dupm roxio and stick with Nero only. download the latest versions of Nero from their website, only do the top 2 of the 6, you dont need the rest, and if you have in cd installed, delete that too. what dvd player will you use to watch/play these files? the easiest way for you now, will be to use Nero vision express 3 (this is to get you used to it) open it up, select dvd, add your files from the hdd one by one, watch your meter bar to not go over the limits, it will re-encode and will take some time, then burn, use Nero to burn, its a good burning proggy. but let me know on the other stuff, as there are other ways to do what you want too. i use data, but your dvd player needs to support it.

Hi there,

If you wish to convert those .AVI to DVD format, to be playable in your DVD player, have a look at VSO DivXtoDVD.

with a size of 320mb each, you should be able to fit 4 of those AVI without the need to compress them later with DVDShrink (for example).

My 2 cents...
