Get Nero ASAP. Then see if you have any problems. "can't view the dvds on my computer" is a little vage, don't quite understand. It could be bad DVDr's. Try Nero first.

power dvd and even windows media player says the disk doesn't exist. i used disk creator classic on roxio. maybe i should use one of the other funtions??? this is all i got for now but i plan on getting Nero this weekend.

i did see subapete's post on another post and i did print it out. i will give that a try also, maybe i did something wrong there.

My advice also would b to get Nero or any other software combo u see advised and posted on afterdawn... all options posted here do work successfully... and make sure u read the guides relevant to the software u are using... here is a lnk to the guides where u would find the list of a number of combos that work...

Good Luck...

What movie are you trying to back up?

When you used DVDShrink, did you get an error message(s)?

Have you tried playing the burned disk on stand alone player?

Try making an ISO with shrink and burn with DVD Decrypter. When you do get Nero, get rid of roxio. They are known to conflict with each other and don't install incd part of Nero. Try burning with DVD Decrypter in the meantime. Guides are in my sig. If you have the same results it could be due to poor quality media or outdated firmware.
