It would be nice if you can provide the error log via DVD Decrypter. What Mode did your rip with DVD Decrypter? How big (i.e. how many GB) is the original DragonBallGT movie? What kind of dvd burner do you have? Is it(your dvd burner) up-to-date on the firmware? If not, then try to update to its current firmware first. Go here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php and have a look at your dvd bunrer.

However, if it's over 4.7GB then you need to do Mode, File F (rip and decrypt) into your hard drive folder (example: NEWMOVIE (big folder) and VIDEO_TS (folder under NEWMOVIE)<-- (NOTE: these 2 folders you need to create in prior to rip and burn), and wait until it's completed. Once you're done with that, just open up DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2, "Open Files" (for DVD Shrink), "Import DVD" (for Nero Recode 2), and set your "CUSTOM" to "4300MB or 4360MB" (the max) and click on "Backup". After DVD Shrink or Nero Recode done with the encoding, just burn it with Nero Burning Rom or DVD Decrypter again.

It's ironic that you've got 2 top notch decrypting programs, yet you failed to rip the movie (DBGT). DVD Decrypter is still the King of Ripper -- it will rip and decrypt anything flawless at this moment.

If you need more info on the tutorial/guide on how to backup using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink or Nero Recode, then let me know. I'll see what I can do alright.

NOTE: keep in mind to use high grade media such as the famous Taiyo Yuden (genuine YUDEN can be found on the FUJI & SONY 8X DVD+R Made In Japan), Maxell (Made In Japan) and Verbatim (MCC003) for any of your future dvd movies backups.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

@JBonD_007,

So what Mode (ISO or File F) did you used DVD Decrypter to rip your DBGT movie? According to my understanding, DVD Decrypter is capable of ripping and decrypting any new encrypted protections easily at this moment. Before you perform your ripping process, take a few minutes to check/set the settings on DVD Decrypter.

** open up DVD Decrypter, go to Tools, and Settings
** at General ?Removal Method? arrow down to ?Aggressive?
** at I/O check ?Ignore Read Errors?
** at CSS check ?Brute Force --> I/O key exchange, On Failure: Use Key From Another File [YES]
** at ISO Write Mode, check ?Enable BURN-Proof
** at File Mode, make sure you have all the "Remove" and "Ignore" [check]

I think those 2 are the problem to you. First of all, I have NTFS hard drive and not FAT32, and I've heard that FAT32 has problem ripping movie that's 4GB or more.

Secondly, I think the original disc (or your DBGT movie) is scratched, dirty and or has a bad pressed, thus it has read errors i.e. "failed to read sector 1421463, 1421464, 1421465." Someone correct me if I'm wrong though. Google and search around here at afterdawn.com for how to convert from FAT32 to NTFS. I recommend you to convert it to NTFS because you'll have more advantages in the long run, especially when it comes to dvd burnings.

This is how to convert your hard drive from FAT to NTFS if you want to.

Go here http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/maintain/co...

To convert a volume to NTFS from the command prompt

1. Open Command Prompt. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Command Prompt.

2. In the command prompt window, type: convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs

For example, typing convert D: /fs:ntfs would format drive D: with the ntfs format. You can convert FAT or FAT32 volumes to NTFS with this command.

Important: Once you convert a drive or partition to NTFS, you cannot simply convert it back to FAT or FAT32. You will need to reformat the drive or partition which will erase all data, including programs and personal files, on the partition.

For me, I prefer the 8X DVD+R Taiyo Yuden because Nero will automatically change the "book type" to a DVD-ROM format in prior to the actual burning process. With that being said, all of my backups are successfully burned as DVD-ROM, and of course it can be view/play on any of my stand alone dvd players.

If I understand you correctly, then what you're saying is that you have some DVDs on your hard drive [E:] and you're trying to backup/burn into a DVD-R media, but your burner failed to read the blank (DVD-R) media and instead it (your drive) gives you a "no disc in drive" right? If so then I have a few questions below for you:

What kind of dvd burner (plus its firmware) do you have?
Have you updated your burner's firmware lately?
What kind of DVD-Rs are you using? and what is the media/manufacture code?
The DVD movies you had in your hard drive now, are they all pre-ripped or files from the net?
